My story

Female, 1 year old, 45 lbs, Bulldog/Lab mix Personality: goofy/funny, affectionate, brave, eager-to-please, patient, easygoing, independent, playful, snuggler, calm, smart, and loyal. Meet sweet lady Pocket: an affectionate lovebug whose favorite activity is curling up beside you with her head in your lap. This smart lady is house trained and crate trained, and has already picked up the words "sit," "down," and "focus." Pocket does well with the resident dog in her foster home, happily playing but also respecting when they need space. She will frequently curl up nearby while you're working, and walks well on the leash. With her sweet demeanor and loving spirit, Pocket is ready to bring companionship and cuddles to her forever home. Could that be you? Apply today to meet Pocket! We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
