Meet Moon!Moon is a 3-year-old terrier mix, weighing just over 50 lbs. He’s a sweet, shy guy searching for a patient adopter who’ll let him settle at his own pace. Moon’s not the type to rush into things—he may need several meet-and-greets before he’s ready to head to his forever home.One thing that helps Moon feel braver? Other dogs. He’s dog-selective, preferring calm, steady companions who match his energy. For this reason, Moon must join a home with another well-balanced dog to help him build confidence and bring out his true personality.Moon is making steady progress, but life outside the shelter will help him grow even more. He’ll thrive with positive experiences, gentle encouragement, and reward-based training to show him the world isn’t so scary after all.Because of his nervous nature, Moon would do best in a calm, quiet home with children 12 or older.If you’ve got patience, a calm dog buddy, and a quiet home, Moon could be the gentle soul you’re looking for.Moon’s hoping for someone to give him the chance to shine.
