My story

Meet Celine 1 yr | Female | 8.5kg (18.7 lbs) | 33 cm (13 in) tall |Spayed | Mixed Breed Rescue Story: Celine was rescued from euthanasia after being found on the streets. She had been brought to a city shelter and was saved just in time. Personality & Behavior Celine is an intelligent, sensitive soul who may be a little shy at first, but quickly warms up with the help of a few tasty treats. She prefers to take her time when bonding and allows petting only after building trust. Once you gain her heart, she’ll quietly sit by your side and follow you around the house like a loving little shadow. She has a low energy level and enjoys relaxing in calm environments. Rather than long walks, she loves playing fetch indoors with her family, and gets adorably excited during playtime. She’s smart enough to understand boundaries too—when given guidance (like not sleeping in the bedroom), she learns and adjusts quickly. She does not enjoy being picked up in a cradled hold, but she’ll express affection in her own quiet, gentle way—by leaning in and simply being near. Celine has lived with a cat for a month and showed no issues. Even during walks, she tends to focus on her human rather than other animals, including cats. She is a bit wary of highly energetic dogs and prefers to avoid confrontation. She usually ignores other dogs entirely, even if provoked—she’s a peaceful, easygoing girl. Living Habits • Friendly and tolerant with children under 13 • Barks only when she wants something or when she sees unfamiliar people • Comfortable getting in and out of cars by herself • Prefers outdoor potty and is mostly housebroken • Walks with a stop-and-go pattern—more interested in sniffing than walking far • Sleeps quietly in the living room and greets the family happily in the morning A Special Companion Celine is incredibly observant and eager to please. She thrives in a home where she can quietly be involved in daily life—whether it’s sitting by your feet or offering her favorite toy for a game of fetch. She’s affectionate, intuitive, and peace-loving—a perfect companion for a gentle, calm household.
