My story

JudieHello world! I am the cutest 1-year-old kitty on the planet, according to many people. Just check out my photos! My owner surrendered me to the HSHC on July 1 because she could not afford to have a cat. She was sad because I am such a sweet-tempered, playful little girl. She reported that I love hanging out in a sunroom, being petted, and lying next to my person. I get along well with other cats and enjoy playing with dangling toys that have feathers. Churu tubes and hard, crunchy treats are my favorite snacks. Give me some catnip and I turn into a silly zoomie kitty! When I met the interviewer lady (IL), I was eager to accept her pets and ear rubs. She witnessed me grooming my roommates and curling up in bed with one of them. She told me I was a precious little girl. However, because I was not eating for a few days when I first checked into the shelter, I went to live in a foster home. Boy, did I hit the jackpot when I became their foster kitty! My foster parents have fallen in love with me because I am so adorable. Now that I am comfortable with them, I take pleasure in being the center of attention. I can still experience periods of shyness and will retreat to my safe space to assess the situation. My foster family has been very patient with me and given me all the time I`ve needed to feel settled. They appreciate my intelligence and gentle nature. Since coming out of my shell, I enjoy cuddling with them. I get along with their cats and dogs, but I`m not afraid to let them know if they are bothering me with a firm boop of my paw. Every day, I am feeling braver and more confident in myself. My fosters definitely believe I will be an excellent addition to my forever family! I agree with them. 8-23-25
