My story

With her silky black fur and golden eyes just beginning to glow, Sadie is right in the middle of an epic kitten glow-up. Her long coat is still coming into its full glory, and doing a little bit of color changing, but one look at her and you’ll see it—this girl is going to be absolutely stunning. Sadie came to us from Kentucky with her sister Derby, both seriously ill and in need of urgent care. After a tough start and a lot of love in a medical foster home, she’s made a full recovery and is thriving—healthy, playful, and full of personality. She’s got a soft side, but don’t be fooled—Sadie is a hunter at heart, and wand toys are her absolute favorite. She launches herself through the air with the grace of a panther and the precision of a professional. She also has a bit of a sassy streak and isn't shy about expressing her boundaries—whether it’s a dramatic tail flick or a side-eye worthy of an Oscar. Sadie can be a little shy with new people at first, but with patience and kindness, she warms up beautifully. Once she feels safe, her playful, affectionate side shines through. She’d love to be adopted with her sister Derby or into a home with another friendly feline who understands both zoomies and personal space.
