My story

Name: Simon Viejo Breed: Siamese Mix Sex: Neutered Male Age: 20 years Weight: 7 lbs Senior Needs A Comfy Blanket and Yummy Food Good with dogs? He may do best in a dog free home but could live with a mellow dog that gives him space. Good with cats? No, he needs a cat-free home. Good with kids? Not Tested; he may be fine with calm, older kids who can give him space. Energy level: Very low, he likes to nap. He does not play or even sit in a window. Medical needs: Simon has kidney disease and has a prescription for specific food, both wet and dry. However, if he wants an alternative meal, it is more important that he enjoy eating something than it being his prescription diet. Simon’s front claws were removed but fortunately he is fully able to use his litter box without the troubles that declawing can cause. Animal Characteristics: Simon is a handsome senior who lived his entire life with one woman who passed away and no other animals. He may sit next to you to show his affection, and while he may not approach to ask for attention, he is receptive to it. He likes gentle petting down his back, and loves head and chin scratches. He will clearly show when he needs space or for his boundaries to be respected. The way to his heart is with yummy treats! Simon needs an adopter who can offer him a safe, quiet, cozy home for his golden years, year, month or whatever time he has. Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. You can also contact my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org if you have questions. I look forward to meeting you!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Simon Viejo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
