Meet Amy — your new best friend in the making! This little bundle of joy is bursting with energy, curiosity, and a heart full of love! Amy is a 4-month-old, 35-pound Catahoula/Weimaraner mix who’s growing fast and will likely be an extra-large girl when full grown—around 80 to 100 pounds of pure love.She’s got a fearless spirit for adventure and a nose that leads her straight into every new discovery (and directly into your heart ). Just yesterday, she hit a major puppy milestone—she went potty outside for the first time! Naturally, we celebrated like she’d just won the Puppy Olympics. Amy is also learning the ropes of kennel training—figuring out that her crate is a cozy little den made just for her. But don’t be fooled—this playful pup is also a grade-A cuddle bug! Her favorite sleeping spot? Snuggled right up beside you. She gives the softest kisses and warmest snuggles, guaranteed to melt your heart every night. She thinks everyone she meets is her new best friend—people, dogs, the mailman—you name it. Her tail never stops wagging and her heart is wide open.If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, slightly silly companion who’s always down for both an adventure and a nap, Amy is your girl. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
