Mateo

My story

Mateo is a stunning lynx-point Siamese who was part of a hoarding situation. When the house was vacated, Mateo and his nine feline friends were turned outside to fend for themselves. Thankfully, the neighbors came together to care for them. LCAR's volunteer took three of them. Mateo is friendly and tolerant and seemingly well-adjusted for all his has gone through. Like most from hoarding situations, it may take extra time for him to adjust to a new family and situation, so Mateo will need a patient family willing to give him space and time. The photos all are of the Mateo; the lighting is different in one of them. If the cat is under the age of 1 year old or has heath issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $165. covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. We only do adoptions on Saturday, and not all animals are able to attend, so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary, so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive.
