Draco is a gentle soul, a bit on the shy side, and he prefers to observe the world from a safe distance before fully engaging. With his striking black coat and thoughtful eyes, he may take a little time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he’s sure to win you over with his quiet charm. Though Draco enjoys his moments of solitude, he’s no stranger to playtime. His curiosity often gets the best of him, and he’ll happily chase after toys or explore new spaces, albeit in his own gentle, reserved way. He’s not one to demand attention, but when he’s ready, he’ll nuzzle up for soft pets and a few quiet moments of connection. Draco’s ideal home would be one where patience and understanding are at the forefront. He gets along well with other cats and could thrive in a calm, loving home where he can take his time to bond. Draco would also do well in a household with respectful, calm children who understand his shy nature and give him the space he needs to feel safe. Our cats are brought to you in style by a beautiful private bus, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Pick-up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you! The adoption fee is $575 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.
