Nitro

My story

Nitro is a 7-year-old mixed breed with a striking brindle coat of brown and white. At 49 pounds, he’s a solid, medium-large guy with a calm, soulful presence. Found as a stray, we don’t know much about his past, but what we do know is that he`s gentle, observant, and seems ready to leave his wandering days behind. Nitro wants to be the king of his castle so no male dogs for him but he would love to meet any female dogs in your home.Nitro recently went on a Dog Day Out and this is what they had to say, `We went on some car rides and he is a great rider! He sits so nicely and loves to look out the window! We got him a pup cup which he loved but we learned he only likes the little dog cookies! We came home and snuggle and watched some tv and also got some French fries from mcdonalds! He is the perfect size if you’re feeling timid about a big dog, because he loves to snuggle and is calm like a smaller dog but also loves to play and be active like bigger dogs! He is a sweetie pie and loves to give kisses and hugs to everyone he meets! He is very social and loves to be around people!`On another day out, `Nitro was such a great walking buddy—he doesn’t pull on the leash, isn’t reactive to other animals or people, and stays calm and focused on his surroundings. He’s also fantastic in the car, content to either lie down or quietly watch the world go by. After our walk, we relaxed at home where he happily chewed on a bone and settled right in. Nitro is the sweetest dog—super gentle and a total snuggler.`Neutered and mature, Nitro is looking for a quiet, patient home where he can feel safe and loved.
