My story

🐾💔 Hi… I’m Uzi. Can I tell you my story? When I first arrived at the shelter, I was just a tiny kitten with a rough start. I had a painful eye infection, and everything around me felt unfamiliar and overwhelming. My future was uncertain—but the people at AHHS saw something in me worth fighting for. They gave me medicine, comfort, and care. They told me I was safe. That I mattered. That things were going to get better. And they were right. The infection is gone now, but it left behind a permanent mark—one of my eyes looks different. It doesn’t bother me, and it doesn’t slow me down, but I know it might make some people look twice… or pass me by. But I hope you look a little closer. Because underneath my unique appearance is a soft, gentle kitten who just wants a warm lap and a place to call home. I purr when you pet me. I curl up close when I’m sleepy.
