Meet Mystique – A Gentle Soul with a Warrior’s Spirit Survivor • Sweetheart • Window Watcher Mystique is a young, stunning black kitty with a tiny white patch on her neck and a story that will tug at your heart. She survived a devastating fire at a local rescue and was taken in by the compassionate team at A Kitten Place, where she’s been lovingly nursed back to health. Along the way, Mystique lost an eye and suffered injuries that left her jaw and teeth misaligned—likely the result of a broken jaw. But thanks to expert veterinary care and lots of love, she underwent jaw surgery to remove the problematic teeth so she can now eat, play, and purr in comfort. Despite everything she’s endured, Mystique is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She’s a calm, low-key girl who thrives in peaceful environments. She gets along with other mellow cats and can learn to coexist with calm, respectful dogs. Her favorite people? The ones who give her gentle pets, attention, and the chance to be near them—especially if they work from home! She enjoys interactive play with wand toys she can see well and loves lounging on the couch or bird-watching from a sunny window. Mystique would do best in a home with adults or older, quiet children who understand her gentle nature.
