My story

Slate is a handsome gray kitten with a gentle soul and a playful spirit. He’s the loyal brother of Silvio, and the two are completely bonded—where one goes, the other is right behind! Slate is curious, fun-loving, and full of kitten energy. He’s always up for a game, especially if it involves tunnels, springs, balls, or kickers. He and Silvio are a dynamic duo when it comes to climbing cat trees and racing through the house in full play mode. Though a little quieter than his very vocal brother, Slate has his own ways of showing affection. He loves snuggling, curling up next to people, and being close to the action. Once he feels at home, he’ll be your constant, comforting companion—especially if there’s a sunny spot or cozy perch nearby. Slate enjoys the screen porch and watching the world go by with Silvio. He’s good with other cats and is currently living with a dog in his foster home, whom he tolerates just fine.
