My story

Fostered in Salem, WI Meet Macadamia! Snickerdoodle is a beautiful blue merle Aussie/German Shepherd mix, born on May 24, 2025, and sporting the cutest freckles you’ve ever seen. With her striking coat and playful energy, she’s as eye-catching as she is endearing. A mix of two highly intelligent and active breeds, Snickerdoodle is not only adorable—she’s also sharp, curious, and eager to learn. Macadamia had a rough start to life, spending her first six weeks living under a crawlspace. Despite her difficult beginnings, she’s shown herself to be resilient and affectionate. She gets along well with dogs, cats, and people, and with continued socialization and positive reinforcement, she’s sure to grow into a confident, loving companion. What Snickerdoodle Needs: An active home: These breeds thrive on physical and mental stimulation—daily walks, playtime, enrichment toys, and training games are all essential.  Patience and consistency: As a young puppy, she’s still learning about the world and how to be part of a family.  Positive reinforcement training: She’s intelligent and eager to please, making her a great candidate for reward-based training.  Ongoing socialization: Continued gentle exposure to different people, environments, and situations will help her become a well-rounded adult.  Love and stability: After a rocky start, she needs a family that can give her the affection and security she deserves.  If you're ready to welcome a sweet, energetic, and loyal pup into your life, Snickerdoodle may be the perfect addition to your home.
