My story

Wetzel's is a little babe with a serious toy obsession. This floofy orange tabby is all about the play life—if it jingles, rolls or crinkles, she’s on it like a tiny lioness. She’s a little shy at first, but once she trusts you, she’s all in (with just enough drama to keep things interesting). Bonus quirk: she insists on burying her leftover food like the refined woodland creature she clearly thinks she is.Apply to adopt to schedule a meet and greet with Piccadilly and Wetzel's.  Kitties will also be attending our weekly adoption event on Saturday, 12-4pm at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd if not adopted sooner. Get $50 off the adoption fee for a pair of kittens. All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
