My name means “autumn leaves,” and I’ve been told my color and personality are just as warm and vibrant. I was born to a free-roaming mama dog, but now I’m safe and loved and ready to meet the people who will become my forever family. I love meeting people! I’m one of those pups who happily wiggles up to say hello even to strangers and I’m known to flop right over for belly rubs without hesitation. I enjoy being held, cuddled, and getting all the attention I can. They say I’m full of cheerful puppy energy with a side of sweet affection. I’ll follow you around, charm you with my boyish playfulness, and bring so much joy to your life.   Social Skills • With People: I’m affectionate and outgoing with humans, even ones I’ve just met. I haven’t met any young kids yet, so a home with older children or adults might be a good fit to start.• With Other Dogs: I’m very sociable and love meeting other pups whether they’re big, small, or in-between. I’m friendly but polite, and I’ll usually walk away if another dog isn’t feeling my energy.• With Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react but I’m open to learning if you guide me gently.   On My Walks Walks are fun! I do pull on the leash a bit mostly because I’m so excited to explore but I keep an eye on my person and follow their lead. I’ve got plenty of puppy energy, so regular outdoor play and exercise help me settle down nicely afterward.   Life at Home At home, I’m a friendly, food-sharing kind of guy. I never guard my food or toys. I may be a little prone to separation anxiety as I grow, so a patient adopter who can help me build confidence when alone would be perfect.I do have a touch of jealousy sometimes I like to be the center of attention! And while I’m a sweet guy, if another dog tries to pick a fight with me, I might push back. But I’m young and teachable, and with guidance, I’ll learn how to walk away from drama like a pro.   My Ideal Home I’m looking for a family who’s ready to raise a smart, active, and loving boy like me. Puppy training like leash walking and socialization will help me blossom into the well-mannered companion I know I can be. I’d love a home that enjoys the outdoors, has time for cuddles, and understands the playful, affectionate spirit that comes with being a young male pup.If you’re dreaming of a goofy, charming sidekick who will adore you endlessly, I might just be the one.
