My story

My name is Opal May, but my foster parents call me Wiley after Wile E. Coyote, even though I more resemble a Wild Dingo. I was found in the streets as a stray with a punctured eye and my head was swollen to twice the normal size. At first I’m cautious of new people, but always sweet — just timid. I love to cuddle my foster mom while watching tv, but always on my own terms. I am crate trained, about 85% potty trained, and know quite a few commands such as sit, shake, down, go to your crate, target, and go potty. I would thrive in a home with other high energy dogs to play with, and a patient family who could help me grow out of my mouthiness while acclimating to my new home at my own pace. I’m so excited to find my forever family — I can’t wait to meet you. Adoption fee is: $250 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
