My story

Meet Natalie, a 15-year-old, 12 pound Schnauzer-Yorkie mix with a tiny frame and a heart full of resilience. Natalie came to us from another shelter in rough shape — she’s heartworm positive, had a tumor on her stomach, and one of her eyes had to be removed. But even with all she’s been through, this senior girl still has a spark in her. Once she feels safe and settled, Natalie is a true sweetheart who just wants to be near you. She’s good with other calm, chill dogs who respect her space and pace. Natalie has already received her ProHeart-12 injection and is currently being treated for heartworms here with us. She’ll need a recheck to ensure she’s on the path to full recovery. If you have a soft spot for senior pups and a gentle heart, Natalie would love nothing more than to spend her golden days by your side. 🐾💗🐶 Adoption fee is: $200 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
