My story

Meet Callie! Callie is a five-month-old female Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix with a heart as big as her personality. This sweet little pup is incredibly intelligent and eager to learn, making her a perfect candidate for a loving home where she can continue to grow and thrive. She absolutely loves being around people, including kids, and has a natural affinity for forming strong bonds with her family. Callie already knows sit, come, and off. She is working on leave-it and down. She is eager to please but takes some time to focus with her energy. Not only does Callie get along wonderfully with other dogs, but she's also quite fond of chickens (she loves to sneak in the coop and just hang out with them)—proving just how adaptable and gentle she is with other animals. Whether she's playing in the yard, cuddling on the couch, or simply being a companion, Callie brings joy and energy wherever she goes. This playful girl has a lot of love to give and needs a home that can provide her with plenty of attention, mental stimulation, and playtime. Callie would thrive in a home where she’s not left alone for long stretches and can be part of the action. She would likely do best in a home with another dog buddy. Callie is: • Cuddly and people-focused – she wants to be where the love is. • Super smart, making her a fast learner • Vocal and expressive – she’s not shy about sharing her thoughts! • Very athletic – she would likely make a great agility dog. She also loves water (perhaps dock diving?) • Crate trained – she sleeps well in her kennel Callie was born on February 3, 2025. She weighed 17 pounds at 5 months of age. Callie is presently being fostered in Redmond Oregon. She is up to date on her vaccinations and has been wormed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in adopting Callie and are pre-approved, please contact the adoption team at hunahapps@gmail.com. If you are not already approved, you can fill out an application here: http://herduneededahome.com/adopt-a-dog

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Callie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
