Come meet me at the Evergreen Park adoption pop-up this weekend! Meet Pooka! In Celtic folklore, a pooka is a mischievous spirit—sometimes a little chaotic, sometimes a little cuddly—and always full of surprises. Sound familiar? Our Pooka lives up to his name in all the best ways. This fluffy gray tabby is a delightful mix of cuddly goblin and snack-seeking cuddlebug. Pooka loves to wrestle with his foster sibling Frannie, zoom from one end of the house to the other, and then crash like a mythical creature who just spent his last magic point. He’s bold, curious, and possibly powered entirely by treats. Pooka is all about that cozy life when the play winds down. He’s a fantastic cuddler, and when he’s not busy being a goofball, you’ll find him curled up like a purring enchantment. Pooka is good with kids and would likely do fine with a cat-savvy dog after a proper introduction. He must be adopted with one of his siblings or into a home with another young, playful cat—he’s got too much magic to be a solo act. If you're looking for a kitten who's equal parts folklore and fluff, Pooka is ready to cast his charm spell on your heart.
