My story

Meet Jetta From the sunny beaches of Barbados please welcome Jetta. She is a one and half year old spayed mixed terrier weighing in around 25 pounds. This gal has been in the province for two months now and has adapted very well to suburban living. From what we know of her history she was found wandering with her sister and was taken in by the animal sanctuary and was placed with a foster home. They were both timid at first and although Jetta is still a bit cautious of new people, with some encouragement and more exposure she is getting much better. I have discovered that she is more receptive to people that have dogs and has no issue approaching them. Jetta is housetrained, loves her walks and chew toys but will destroy the odd stuffed toy. She does walk around sometimes with one in her mouth whining a bit. She likes to steal the odd piece of clothing so everything is off the floor including shoes and redirect her to her toy. She is crated when left alone in the house for a few hours. She will enter into the crate freely as long as there are a few treats waiting for her in there. She does sleep in a dog bed at night in the bedroom. Jetta is being lovingly fostered in Oshawa, ON If you are interested in adopting Jetta, please complete an application on our website: https://www.jrnc.org/adoption-application

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jetta, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
