My story

A Gentle Soul with a Heart of Gold.  Lauder is a quiet little gentleman with eyes full of wonder and a heart just waiting to be loved. This sleek black beauty may be a bit shy at first, but give him a little patience and a lot of love, and you’ll discover one of the sweetest companions you could ever hope for. He loves soft blankets, cozy corners and gentle voices. While he might take a moment to come out of his shell, once he does, Lauder becomes the softest shadow at your side — purring, nuzzling and soaking up affection. Give Lauder the chance to bloom — and gain a friend for life.Apply to adopt to schedule a meet and greet with Dior, Mac, Tarte and Lauder.  Most kitties will also be attending our weekly adoption event on Saturday, 12-4pm at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd. Get $50 off the adoption fee for a pair of kittens. All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
