My story

Indiana Jones is a great name for an ADVENTURER like me!! I mean, how can I even live UP to that name???? BY LIVING! I mean, I was found so close to death with my jaw locked shut and just about starved to death..... and look at me NOW!!! I may almost be a little chunky :D Oh yes, I am also deaf! And I am heart worm positive. So, yes I have several health issues, however, who is perfect?? Nobody! So let me tell you more about me, not the imperfect things the PERFECT things!! I am ALIVE, I am sweet and loving and I am happy and I am ready for my furever home! I love everyone I meet, I am learning sign language and I want to live. I came to the rescue with a condition called MMM (Masticatory Muscle Myosis), it is an autoimmune attack of the chewing muscle.... SO, it is not a very common disease, and it can be triggered by any number of things- and since I was found on the streets of San Antonio we really have no idea why it happened to me.... LUCKILY, my rescuers knew EXACTLY what to do and I am now BACK TO LIFE AND READY FOR MY OWN REAL LIFE! I am weaning off the prednisone and I will need someone who is comfortable monitoring me for life for any kind of relapse. I promise I will love you like no one else, I am SO HAPPY to be alive and I will let you know that every day..... SO, if you want to be the "Marion" to my Jones, LOOK ME UP!!! You won't regret it! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX)
