My story

Hello, I'm Deacon! In the church, deacons are meant to serve. They dedicate their lives to spreading the good word and helping those in the community that need it most. I think the only thing I've ever served are perfectly Frenchie snorts, grunts and toots! I've got all the spunk, character, and SNUGGLES people have come to love from my breed. Despite my sunny demeanor, my life hasn't always been blue skies and rainbows. I was found lost and alone, with a very serious problem! I had a prolapsed rectum, likely due to genetics or food allergies. I have had corrective surgery for the prolapse but I'm still food sensitive and will need a strict diet and routine to keep my booty (and the surrounding area) diarrhea-free. As a Frenchie, I will always want to eat lots but I really need to stay on my regular food and regular routine. I do better with frequent outings to poop and pee, so would require a family that is home throughout the day. I have some accidents in my kennel overnight so, I will need my own space to sleep in as well, I am unable to completely control my stool. Other than the above, I am easy peasy, cute and wheezy! I have made fast friends with everyone I've met so far. I love to play with toys, other dogs and my people, large or small. I have no problem hanging out in my crate but I realy want to be with YOU :) and I do well on car rides. I'm so ready for a new family to love me fur-ever! Apply today!
