My story

Meet Blondie! 7-8 Week-Old Male Boxer/Bulldog Mix Currently located in Cheyenne, WY Blondie is the *biggest boy* out of his litter of seven, and he’s got the personality to match! Confident, curious, and full of puppy charm, Blondie is the ringleader of playtime and always the first to explore something new. He’s smart, super playful, loves a good game of tug-of-war, and is especially fond of snuggling up after a long day of adventures. This little escape artist has already figured out how to bust out of his playpen—not to cause trouble, but just to be closer to his people. He craves connection and attention, and will thrive in a home that includes him in all the family fun. Blondie’s story (and that of his siblings) is both heartbreaking and beautiful. A kind-hearted Good Samaritan found four stray dogs on the side of the road in California. Two ran off, but a friendly boxer mix and a younger pup came right up to her. She took them to the vet—no collars, no chips, no one looking for them. The female boxer was thin, and the vet assumed she was just coming into heat. But ten days later, the surprise of a lifetime—she gave birth to 7 healthy puppies. The Good Samaritan cared for mama and her pups the best she could while searching for help. Through an incredible twist of fate, her sister in Denver connected with a Big Bones Canine Rescue volunteer, and soon these pups were on their way across state lines to safety and brighter futures. Blondie will be ready to head to his forever home once he is fixed—but applications are open now! If you’re looking for a loyal, people-loving pup with a zest for life, **Blondie is your guy.**

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Blondie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
