My story

Meet Gizmo! 🐾 7-8 Week-Old Male Boxer/Bulldog Mix Currently in Cheyenne, WY Born right in the middle of the pack, Gizmo may not be the biggest or the loudest—but don’t let that fool you. He’s got plenty of personality packed into that adorable little body! Full of love, energy, and playful spunk, Gizmo is always ready for action… or affection. He’s the kind of pup who will tug on a toy one minute and be curled up in your lap the next. He’s also not above tugging on a sibling’s ear—just for fun, of course. With his happy-go-lucky nature and endless tail wags, Gizmo is the kind of dog who brings joy wherever he goes and will quickly wiggle his way into your heart (and probably your bed too, if you let him!). Gizmo’s story, like his siblings’, began in California with a twist of fate. A Good Samaritan pulled over to check on four strays she saw running along the road. Two bolted, but a boxer mix and younger pup came right up to her. No collars, no chips—and ten days later, surprise! That skinny boxer gave birth to seven puppies. With help from her sister in Denver and the amazing team at Big Bones Canine Rescue, Gizmo and his littermates made their way to safety and a second chance. Gizmo will be ready for adoption once he’s fixed—but we’re accepting applications now!
