These two brave little girls were the only survivors after their mother and littermates were tragically killed by a dog. But despite such a heartbreaking start, Sunny and Moon have blossomed in their loving foster home—and now, they’re healthy, thriving, and ready for a forever family of their own. Sunny is a rare treasure—a female orange tabby with a unique bobtail! She’s full of light and love, curious about everything, and always up for a good snuggle or play session. Moon, her tuxedo beautiful sister, is gentle, affectionate, and perfectly complements Sunny’s sunny personality. They are truly inseparable and rely on each other for comfort and companionship. We are looking for a very special adopter who will welcome both Sunny and Moon together, as they’ve survived so much and have only ever had each other. Their bond is something truly special. These girls are spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, and litter box trained. All they need now is a safe, loving home to call their own. Having a feline friend can be incredibly beneficial for their social and emotional well-being, providing comfort and support throughout their lives. All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have. NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption. If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
