Introducing: Ladie – because every rescue needs that one dog who’s equal parts “I meditate at sunrise” and “YOLO let’s chase butterflies!” Ladie is the kind of girl who walks the line between laid-back yogi and spontaneous festival-goer. One minute she’s lounging like a queen on her throne (a.k.a. the comfiest dog bed in the house), and the next she’s bouncing around like life just handed her a bottomless pup cup. Think “Namaste” meets “LET’S GOOOOO.” She’s got that rare personality blend that says, “I’m unbothered by drama, but also 100% down to party with squeaky toys and tail wags.” Calm? Absolutely. Chill? You bet. But boring? Never. Ladie is the ultimate vibe shifter—ready to adapt to your energy, match your mood, and maybe even raise the bar a little. So, if your dream dog is a little bit zen and a little bit zany, Ladie’s your ladie. 😎💃 Ladie is a 5-year-old, 69lb Great Pyrenees mix with the kind of grace, fluff, and quiet judgment that only comes from living through things—like being told she had to pack her bags because her owner was moving and she didn’t make the cut. Despite being handed the short end of the suitcase, Ladie has taken her fresh start in stride. Ladie is what happens when you mix "calm and composed" with "selectively social." When it comes to other dogs, she’s more of a quiet observer than a social butterfly. She’s not trying to make besties at the dog park—she’s the one pretending to text while the other dogs go nuts. She coexists just fine, but don’t expect her to be leading the conga line anytime soon. Give her some time to settle in, and maybe she’ll decide a playdate is worth penciling into her schedule. Cats? Oh, please. Ladie barely acknowledges their existence. She’s far too sophisticated to chase something that small and dramatic. As for kids, she hasn’t been around any in her foster home, but word on the street (aka her previous owner) is that she loves them.Of course, small humans still need supervision because, let’s be honest, toddlers think tails are handles and dogs are jungle gyms. As a road trip buddy, Ladie is the definition of low-maintenance. She’s sweet, she’s relaxed, and she has just enough bounce in her step to remind you she still knows how to party... in a very low-key, respectable way. Her hobbies include napping (hard), lounging on cool tile floors like an ancient queen, and occasionally gracing the couch with her presence. Fetch? Not yet. She’s still trying to figure out why humans throw perfectly good objects across the room and then expect applause when dogs bring them back. As for living arrangements, she’s flexible. Apartment life? Sure, if you're home often and up for regular walks and affection on demand. A house with a yard? Even better. But if your plan is to leave her alone for 9+ hours a day while you live your best life, kindly move along—Ladie did not sign up to be a decorative floor ornament. This girl deserves a retirement filled with love, attention, and possibly a fan blowing directly on her fluff at all times. Potty trained? Absolutely. Ladie is a lady, after all. She handles her business like a pro—no surprise puddles, no mystery messes, just dignity and clean floors.As for kennels? Ladie wouldn’t know—she’s never been in one.
