My story

Valerie is scheduled to arrive at our Jenkintown PetSmart adoption center on Sunday, Aug. 10.  Please stop by to meet her! Valerie is nothing short of a miracle mom. This sweet, gentle, and loving girl came in from the streets of Philly just in time to give birth in the safety of foster care, pouring every ounce of her heart into raising her four kittens (including an orphaned kitten she adopted as her own). Watching Valerie nurture, clean, comfort, and protect them all has been truly inspiring. Now that her kittens are grown and have found their own homes, it's Valerie's turn to be someone's baby.  With her motherly duties behind her, Valerie's true personality has really started to shine. She’s developed into a loving and affectionate cat who thrives on human interaction. She greets her foster humans with purrs the moment you touch her and even enjoys being held like a baby. Valerie loves to engage in gentle play, sometimes playfully batting at your legs as you walk by or gently 'love biting' your hand during petting sessions. These are all signs of her desire for attention and connection. She's looking for an adopter who understands her playful nature and is ready to shower her with affection. She particularly enjoys playing with wand toys and will happily curl up in bed next to you every night. Valerie is spayed, vaccinated, and litter trained. She has not interacted with other adult cats, despite raising her four kittens. She may do well with another cat, if given a proper introduction. But she wouldn’t mind being your one and only. She has not met any children or dogs. Valerie is playing with her foster family.  Two of her kittens Romy (FCID# 07/01/2025 - 154) and Priya (FCID# 07/01/2025 - 151) are playing in our Willow Grove PetSmart adoption center.  Please submit our no-obligation application for a meet and greet or to adopt: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/ .  Thank you!  (Foster: John Y.).August 10, 2025, 6:32 am
