My story

ANDI ~~ Spayed female, Shepherd Mix, Brindle with White Markings, 66 pounds, microchipped, DOB: 12/6/2023 Meet your new best girl, Andi. This one is definitely a keeper -- super sweet and gentle. Andi can be a little shy when meeting brand new people but has a heart of gold and truly loves everyone she meets. She wants to be friends and just needs a little coaxing to come out of her shell. She was found running loose out in the world, all by herself. It took two days to catch her because she was so scared. As it turns out, she had eaten several rocks ~~ possibly due to hunger but has passed them all and is doing just fine now. Andi could gain a little weight after her experience living outside, but that will come with time. And, her coat is a little thin in places but is coming in nicely after eating a balanced and nutritious diet for just a short amount of time! Andi is ready to find the forever home of her dreams. Her needs are simple ~~ she would love a family of her own to love and be loved by, a home with a fenced backyard and room to play, some fun and cool toys to play with, some comfy beds to sleep and dream in, and some yummy food and treats. She might even love another friendly canine companion and some kids to play with! She is a smart girl and should be easily trainable. She already knows how to sit and seems to love to pose for photos! She does jump up in excitement (and to get close to you to give kisses) but can easily learn the "down" command. Andi was recently spayed and microchipped, has negative heartworm and fecal tests, is current on all vaccines and vet services, is healthy, playful and ready to meet her forever family! Her adoption fee is $145 and includes one month of Simparica Trio to go home ~~ for heartworms, fleas, ticks and intestinal parasites. Andi should remain on heartworm and flea-tick prevention for life to keep her healthy and happy and should live indoors. If you are looking for an exceptional dog to add to your family, come and meet Andi today.
