My story

Ollie is fostered in Waukesha, WI. This stunning boy is Ollie, also known as Oliver.  He is a male red tri Australian Shepherd.  He is is 2 years old and weighs approximately 50 lbs.  Ollie came into rescue because his owner had heart issues and declining health.  She selflessly wanted him to find the best forever home. Ollie is a great boy.  He attends doggie daycare and does wonderful with the other dogs but he doesn't like to share things that he believes are his with other dogs.  He would do best with an adopter that is willing to complete some basic obedience training with him as he had not had much in terms of training prior to coming to rescue.  He LOVES humans of all shapes, sizes, and ages. He would be happiest as an only dog in his forever home.  While he is great with other dogs when in a daycare type environment or dog park, he doesn't like to share his things with other dogs and will be bossy about it. Ollie is also great with kids. He likes to chase the kitties a little too much so we think a home without cats or any little dogs would be best for him. He is crate trained, house trained, done well with grooming and car rides.  He does like his crate and its a safe space for him and sometimes will just lay down and chill in his crate.  Ollie is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms.  Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization.  For more information on our adoption process or to complete an adoption application, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org. NOTE:  All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in.  Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application.  We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family.  MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives.  www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org ##2406854##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt 0851 Ollie (Oliver), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
