Meet Sonic – Our Sweet 15-Year-Old Gentleman Looking for a Soft Landing Sonic may be 15, but don’t let his age fool you—this little guy still has plenty of pep in his step and love to give. After being surrendered to the shelter by the only family he ever knew—simply for being "too old"—we knew we had to step in and give him the chance he deserves. Now in foster care, Sonic is thriving. He’s completely house-trained as long as he has access to the yard, and he’s a breeze to live with—no separation anxiety, no fuss. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even enjoys a bit of playtime! He can walk over a mile with ease, hills and all, and just this morning, he even initiated a game of tug. Sonic is affectionate without being clingy. He enjoys companionship, but also values his independence—he’s the perfect balance of chill and charming. Ideal Home: Easy access to a yard (minimal or no stairs preferred) Another small dog friend would be a bonus A calm, loving home where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort If you’re looking for a gentle, low-maintenance companion who still has some spark left in him, Sonic may just be your perfect match.
