Gertie

My story

Gertie is as sweet as they come. She wants to be near her person as much as possible and loves snuggles. She gives gentle kisses and takes treats very carefully. She enjoys meeting new people and even going to the vet! She also loves car rides. Gertie would do well with children. We're just getting to know Gertie, but she likes being outside, soaking up the sun, and playing in her kiddie pool. Gertie is house-trained, crate-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and knows basic commands like sit and lie down. Her foster mom is helping her get healthy and fit. Gertie has hypothyroidism and will need medication and prescription food to prevent bladder stones for the rest of her life.
