My story

Introducing Pepe!  He is a 4 year old male Chihuahua mix who weighs 10.9 lbs.  He is housetrained and crate trained, though he doesn't love being in his crate and he will fuss. He loves to sleep in bed with his foster parents.  Pepe's exercise needs are pretty low, he likes to hang out with his people in the house, spend some time in the yard, play with toys, and go for short walks.  He's good with the other dogs in his foster home.  He'll probably do well with respectful children, but he has not been exposed to kids in our care.  He is described as friendly, adaptable, happy, and loyal. Pepe's Foster mom shared: Pepe is the sweetest little love bug around. He loves to snuggle up to you or sit in your lap all the time. He just wants to be near you. He has started to become playful and show interest in toys. He is pretty quiet unless he is in his crate. He quiets down eventually but doesn’t really like it. He is house trained and hasn’t had a single accident. He takes redirection really well. He has not been destructive over any household things like shoes or phone cords. He is the perfect lapdog! Pepe is ready for his forever home! His adoption fee is $300  plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.  He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
