She’s not a busy-body or the life of the party; instead, she prefers peaceful walks, soft pets, and the comfort of familiar faces.Since arriving as a stray, Annalise has made steady progress and now looks forward to her time outside. She’s shown us that trust, once earned, means everything to her. She would thrive in a home where she can go at her own pace and feel safe to simply be herself.Annalise does have ongoing skin and ear issues that will likely need lifelong care, so her ideal home will be committed to supporting her medical and dietary needs with help from their veterinarian. She’s not a big eater, but with some creativity and good-quality food, she can stay healthy and happy.A quiet, stable home with older children (10+) and low activity would be perfect for her. She may enjoy the company of another calm, respectful dog, but she’s just as content being the only pet. Annalise is ready for a life filled with peace, patience, and gentle love—could that be with you?
