My story

Meet Daisey, a 5-year-old Boxer who came to Big Dog Ranch from a breeder in Oklahoma. Her past hasn’t been the easiest, and she’s still learning that people can be kind and safe. Because of her background, she would do best with an adopter who has prior experience with dogs—especially the Boxer breed—so they can provide the patience and understanding she needs. With her low energy level, Daisey is happiest in a calm home where she can take her time to settle in. She gets along well with other dogs and may benefit from having a gentle, confident canine friend to help her feel more secure. Once she trusts you, Daisey loves to cuddle and will gladly share quiet, affectionate moments. She also enjoys playing with toys at her own pace. Daisey is shy and timid at first, but with a steady routine and a compassionate adopter, she has the potential to blossom into a devoted and loving companion!
