My story

Hello! I'm Laken, an enthusiastic and spirited pup ready to find my forever home. I grew up in the warm, welcoming environment of the Ranch under the loving care of my mom, Lucy, and was adopted as an adorable puppy. Sadly, due to allergies, my previous owner had to bring me back, but I’ve bounced back and regained my confidence. At age 4 I am now a young adult and past that silly puppy stage, yet still young active, and fun-loving. As you can see in my picture I love water play. I am best in a tranquil setting without small children to worry about. I’m a treat lover, and once I start receiving delicious snacks from you, an unbreakable bond will form between us! While I’m still honing my skills, I was taught how to sit and walk nicely on a leash. Long, invigorating walks are an absolute must for me—they help me release my energy and explore the world around me! Once I’m comfortable with you, my personality shines. I transform into a sweet, joyful, and playful companion who loves to romp around with other dogs. I can be a bit spirited, and sometimes I prefer the company of humans over my furry friends. If you give me a chance, I promise to be your loyal, loving companion, ready to fill your life with joy! I just need another human to give this girl a chance.
