0887 Rip

My story

Rip is fostered in NW Arkansas. Meet the stunning Rip! Rip is an ecstatic 1 year old blue Merle Australian Shepherd weighing 43 lbs with some room to grow! Rip’s sparkling blue eyes will make you fall in love at first sight! Not only does he look perfect he is perfect! This sweet boy is full of love and ready to give out all his love to anyone who is ready for his happy go lucky attitude. Rip loves to plop down where his human is to get cuddle or a good belly rub! Nothing beats playing with the ball though! If a ball is involved he’s ready.  Rips loves to romp around with his fur siblings! Rip is EXTREMELY dog friendly! He has yet to meet a dog who he hasn’t liked. He understands some of his friends are mellow and some want to play play play. He respects his fur friend’s play styles and is easily adjustable. Rip also learned sharing is caring. He does not mind if his friends borrow his toys he’s just happy to be involved!  Rip is a bit of a water bug! He loves to play and splash around in the hose, pool, or creek! He is the PERFECT adventure buddy! Rip has mastered loose leash walking which is great for hiking but is ready to play in the water when you reach it.   Rip is learning to be neutral in busy spaces as he loves people and children he thinks everyone should be loving on him. Rip is working on his settling in public spaces such as patios, parks etc. and I know in no time he will catch on! I mean with being that cute it’s hard to think not everyone wants to love you.  Rip is completely kennel trained. He sleeps through the night and only whines during the night if he has to potty. He will happily go in the kennel while you’re away and eat in his kennel. Rip is seeking in his furever home:  An active home that is gonna keep him busy and well exercised A family who will continue working with him on settling in situations with high traffic of people  A family with a fence as he still needs to learn a recall.
