This dog needs to complete her heartworm treatment at our partner vet in Apex!*** 🎬 *Scene opens on a scrappy, sassy, low-to-the-ground pup with a sparkle in her eye and a tug toy in her mouth...* Hi! I’m Angel. I may look like a potato with legs, but don’t be fooled—I’m powered by zoomies, sass, and pure joy. My breed is 100% lovable chaos. I started out in rough shape—hungry, scared, and surviving on whatever I could find (yes, even rocks 😬). But now I’m a strong, healthy 40 pounds of wiggles and determination. I live on a horse farm with my foster mom, and guess what? I’ve made peace with cats, dogs, horses, and even weird human visitors. I’m a quick learner like that. My hobbies? Oh, just *running everywhere instead of walking*, collecting toys (especially shoes, oops), and playing tug like it's my job. If you want strong shoulders, I’m basically your personal trainer. Anything that fits in my mouth is fair game—so hold onto your socks. I’ve learned cool stuff like “sit,” “wait,” and “kennel up.” I sleep through the night and hang in my crate when foster mom’s gone. I bark sometimes—especially at suspicious lawn mowers or ghosts in the barn—but hey, safety first. Thunderstorms are my kryptonite. During those, I prefer to hide behind you on the couch. It’s my safe cave, and you’re my human rock. If you’ve got a yard, a toy stash, and a sense of humor, we might just be soulmates.
