With her soft eyes and gentle spirit, Elsa is a shy but sweet girl who is slowly discovering how wonderful it can be to receive love and affection.Though she can be a bit nervous in new situations and takes time to warm up to people, Elsa is making steady progress each day. She`s beginning to approach for pets and is learning that human hands can be kind. One of her favorite things is being brushed—it`s a soothing comfort that helps her feel secure and cared for. Elsa may do best going home with a confident dog to show her how to navigate and how to settle into a home. A meet and greet at the shelter would be best to determine if it would be a good fit!Elsa also enjoys relaxing outside, quietly hanging out on the grass and watching the world go by. She’s not a high-energy pup; instead, she finds peace in quiet moments and simple companionship. With time and patience, her sweet personality continues to blossom.Elsa will thrive in a calm, understanding home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
