My story

⚓ Meet Timone – Your New First Mate! 🐾 Ahoy, cat lovers! Set sail on a new adventure with Timone, a young male with mesmerizing amber eyes that could steer any heart off course. Transferred to our shelter from an overcrowded facility in early June, Timone arrived with a few sniffles and a whole lot of potential. He was treated for a common kitty cold and has since been charting a course straight into our hearts. Though we don’t know how Timone originally found himself in the shelter system, we do know this: he’s ready to leave his past astern and find a forever home worthy of his name. Fun fact: "Timone" means “helm” in Italian and just like the wheel of a ship, this boy is ready to help steer your life in the right direction. (And yes, he has heard all the “Lion King” jokes and he’s graciously accepting them.) Whether he's curled up in a sunbeam or on the lookout for land (aka treats), Timone is curious and a companion who’s eager to be the calm in your storm. He is not a fan of being held or carried. He prefers to show his affection on his own terms. Come meet independent Timone and let him be the captain of your couch. He’s waiting to chart a new course... straight into your home. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times.
