My story

Meet Rowan, a tiny male Chihuahua mix puppy with a big personality! Weighing just 5lbs (likely less), this adorable little guy is bursting with energy and cuteness.   Rowan is a typical happy, friendly puppy who loves everyone! Good with other dogs, cats, people, and kids. Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper training and socialization, will grow into wonderful dogs. Rowan is a low rider with short little legs and a thick body :) He's playful, spunky, but also a loyal guy who aims to please and will lovingly stare into your eyes. Despite his small body, he is a zoomie guy who loves to sprint around the yard with his sister. They are both looking for families to keep them active & stimulated, and promise to pay you back with love and loyalty. He is medically up to date (age appropriate) and ready to bring joy and snuggles to his forever home. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
