My story

Stanley is the kind of kitten who makes every day brighter (and a little funnier). With his wide eyed wonder, wobbly zoomies, and endearing lack of coordination, Stanley is pure orange cat magic. He’ll chase his tail like it’s a serious job, dive into toy piles headfirst, and dramatically flop over for belly rubs the moment you look his way. But behind all the silliness is a gentle, loving soul. Stanley adores being near his people, snuggling up for naps, and purring like a tiny motorboat the moment he feels safe and loved. He’s a kitten who just wants to make you smile. Stanley was rescued as part of our ongoing efforts to support communities affected by the recent Central Texas flooding. With local shelters overwhelmed—many already at capacity before the storms hit—we stepped in to help reduce overcrowding. By bringing animals like Stanley into our program, we helped free up critical space so that pets displaced by floods could be held safely and reunited with their families.
