My story

Meet Cinnamon! This ten-year-old brindle beauty is sweet, seasoned, and slightly dramatic when someone says the word “vet.” Cinnamon is a certified people-person (er… dog) who believes strangers are just friends who haven’t pet her yet. She enjoys sunbathing in the yard like it’s her personal spa retreat, and don’t even think about saying “car ride” unless you’re ready to follow through — she’s already in the passenger seat, buckled in with her imaginary seatbelt, ready for snacks and tunes. She may be a mature lady, but she still struts like she’s in her prime and flops like she’s been working all day (she hasn’t). Cinnamon is equal parts couch potato and backyard explorer — a low-maintenance queen with just the right amount of sass. Foster Update: Cinnamon is an absolute pleasure to foster -- the perfect house guest. She does wonderfully with our 18-year-old cat; knows all of the important commands (stay; sit; come; lay down; no; off; leave it; time for bed/where's your bed; potty time). Bedtime and sleeping through the night is a breeze! Because she loves her humans so much, she might wake up in the night to make sure you're still there and then she's back in her bed curled up until morning. She does LOVE her car rides and has only barked once while we've fostered her. She looks to her human companions to set the pace -- be it movie time; walk time, you name it and she'll be by your side to enjoy it.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cinnamon, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
