My story

Bella is a sweet and loving white and tan American bulldog/Sharpei mix with a heart as big as her beautiful smile. Gentle and affectionate, Bella thrives on human connection and simply wants to be near people—especially if it means getting pets and belly rubs. Her warm, soulful eyes and calm demeanor instantly win over everyone she meets, and she’s happiest when she’s by your side, soaking up all the love she can get.Despite her strong, sturdy build, Bella is incredibly gentle and friendly. She greets both new and familiar faces with a wagging tail and a hopeful look that says, “Will you pet me?” She’s a peaceful presence who brings comfort and calm wherever she goes, making her the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal, low-key friend. Bella is ready to find a forever home where she can be cherished and give back endless affection in return.ADOPTION PACKAGEThank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven. Each dog adoption fee of $175 includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine and tag (age 3 months and up), microchip, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, a free starter bag of Hills Science Diet, and coupons from area businesses.Please make sure you review the following as part of the adoption process:· Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.· A current government-issued photo ID (no student IDs) - such as a driver`s license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc.· Have a Meet and Greet with the animal and our adoption coordinator (These can be a virtual Meet and Greet session due to COVID-19)· Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier with them when picking up their new pet.· The Haven accepts cash, check, debit/credit cards, or money orders.* For adopters of cats and dogs aged 6 months or less, or those with a medical condition preventing immediate spaying or neutering, The Haven requires a signed Spay/Neuter (S/N) Agreement and a $100 cash deposit, refundable upon completion of the spay/neuter procedure.
