My story

Wanda was found in a field with her brother, Cosmo, and brought to FMAR to begin a new chapter. During their time in foster care, it became clear that these two share a quiet but essential bond. They’re not glued to each other, but they do take comfort in each other’s presence. When separated, both became withdrawn and stopped eating—so we’re looking for a home that will adopt them together.Wanda is the more confident of the pair. She can be a bit hand-shy at first, but once she’s in your arms, she melts and purrs contentedly. She’s usually the first to explore, to play, and to show affection—which helps ease Cosmo’s nerves and gives him the confidence to come out of his shell.Wanda and Cosmo were fostered in a home with dogs and adult cats, and they got along great with everyone—sometimes even more so than with people at first! They’ll thrive in a calm home, whether it’s just the two of them or one with other friendly animals. Wanda leads the way, and Cosmo follows her steady example.With a little patience and a lot of love, Wanda and Cosmo will become wonderful, loyal companions.FMAR felines are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age-appropriate shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.
