My story

Meet Talma! Born February 2025 Hi, I’m Talma! I was rescued with my siblings by Valley Dogs Rescue. Now I’m enjoying life in my foster home—learning, playing, and soaking up all the love! Talma's new foster parents call him Moe and find that Moe is smarter and easier to train than most puppies his age. He is about 30 pounds right now and expected to be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. He is smart and curious and already has learned to “sit” and “stay,” and "shake". At his first foster home he learned the doggie door and in his current foster home he is apparently super smart and learned in 1 day how to jiggle a bell on the door knob to signal he needs/wants to go outside. He loves to play, explore, and cuddle with his people. He gets along great with other dogs and, while he hasn't met any cats yet, I think he would do just fine with one. As a young pup, he will need continued training to help him grow into the best companion he can be! A home with a yard and daily exercise would really help! He is currently in a home with a 6 year old boy, 2 adults and another 1 year old female dog. He loves to play with children and any dog he can and never needs an adjustment period with new dogs.
