Makita

My story

Makita is a sweet, black kitten who starts off a bit shy, but once he feels confident, his playful and affectionate personality shines. He loves spending time with his brothers, Kobalt and Ryobi, wrestling, tumbling and curling up in a kitten pile for naps. Makita is curious and gentle and enjoys exploring his world. He purrs contentedly when held and happily joins in for playtime. Makita will thrive in a loving, patient home with another playful pet to help bring out his confidence and joy. Ryobi and Makita have cute little 3/4 length tails while Kobalt makes up for them with an extra long tail.  Apply to adopt to schedule a meet and greet with any of these sleek brothers, Makita, Kobalt or Ryobi.  Most of the kitties on the website will also be attending our weekly cat adoption event on Saturday from 12-4pm at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd. Get $50 off the adoption fee for a pair of kittens. All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
