My story

How this pet arrived: Lacey was brought in by their previous owner on June 3, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Once upon a time, in a quiet, sun-drenched corner of the world, there lived a princess named Lacey. Graceful, gentle, and just a bit shy, she preferred quiet thrones made of pillows and the warm glow of a morning sunbeam over grand ballrooms and bustling kingdoms. At first glance, she may seem distant, tucked away in her tower of cozy hideaways. New lands and unfamiliar faces can feel like dragons to face - but give her time, speak softly, move gently... and slowly, her world begins to open. When she feels safe and understood she'll allow gentle pets, offer a soft purr, and let you into her peaceful little world - a gift as magical as any royal treasure. But every fairytale has its boundaries. Princess Lacey prefers to rule her castle alone. Other animals, no matter how noble, are simply not part of her royal vision. She longs for a kingdom of calm, free from chaos, filled with quiet routines and kind souls who honor her need for space and serenity. She's had her share of hard chapters, and when life becomes too unpredictable, even her litter box manners can go astray - but a gentle guide and a steady rhythm help her find her way back. Lacey is ready for her next cozy throne in a calm home where she can settle in gently - just don't forget a top-loading carrier for her royal arrival. Shy/Fearful Cat:Lacey requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 12.12 Age: 8yrs 5mths 2wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lacey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
