Max Goof

My story

As impossible as it seems, Max Goof is even more achingly sweet than he looks. He was surrendered along with another dog because his owner was no longer able to keep him. Max has been raised around kids, other dogs, cats and chickens. His former owner says Max is confident, excitable, friendly, independent and outgoing. She writes, “He loves water and running in water. He loves toys and treats. He loves meeting new people and giving kisses. He’s a sweet big boy.” Max is working on his house training, and getting him into a strong routine will be really helpful in helping him understand how it all works. He walks nicely on leash at the shelter and seems comfortable with strangers.
